Hotel Cosmonaut

The Cosmonaut Hotel was opened in Karaganda in 1972. It was specially built for cosmonauts returning from space flights. Among the famous guests of the hotel are heads of states, famous political leaders, scientists, artists, and other celebrities. The hotel is located in a park area, the most ecologically friendly district of Karaganda, but only a few minutes' drive from the city centre.

The Zhuldiz restaurant serves continental and national cuisines, and a fine wine collection. Buffet breakfast is offered here every morning.
