The hotel building of the Karelia 3* country recreation center is located on the picturesque cape of Lake Onega, the second largest lake in Europe, the clear waters of which wash the cape on three sides, 85 km from Petrozavodsk, 30 km from Kondopoga and 45 km from the pearl of Karelia - the island of Kizhi, 1 km from the ancient Karelian village of Vatnavolok. The name of the village has been found in scribal documents since 1563; Veselov’s barn, an architectural monument of the early 20th century, has been preserved on the territory of the village. Country recreation center "Karelia" 3* has its own sandy beach.

The countryside recreation center covers an area of ​​7 hectares and has a 500-meter coastline. The area is landscaped with asphalt and gravel walking paths, illuminated at night.

Accommodation - a two-storey building with 36 rooms, the total number of rooms with extra beds (chair bed) - 86 beds.

All rooms have in-room amenities, furniture is made from ecological wood - pine.

At the guests' service: a cafe with 80 seats with a fireplace, a bar with upholstered furniture, karaoke and a dance floor; large guarded parking lot; mini-store for grocery and related products; picnic areas; a football field, basketball and volleyball courts, an equipped area for upper and lower ropes courses, a 6-meter high wall for rappelling and ascents; bathhouse rental.

Rental: bicycles, rowing boats, fishing rods, barbecues, fire equipment. Provided: dog sledding (winter) and kart riding (summer).

Excursions to the sights of Karelia and the Arkhangelsk region: Kizhi Island, Valaam Island, Ruskeala Mountain Park, Kivach Waterfall, Girvas Volcano, the first Russian resort “Martial Waters”, safe rafting on the Shuya River with a picnic and tasting of Karelian liqueurs, Solovki Island.

Rent: tents, sleeping bags, rugs for accommodation in a tent camp on the shore of Lake Onega. You can bring your own tents.

In winter - skiing, cheesecake riding, winter fishing, dog sledding, winter snowmobile safaris and a varied animation program.

A special feature of the service is a variety of creative, educational, sports and entertainment programs. Each direction is represented by master classes, competitions, quests, concert programs, and ethnic evenings. The animators include laureates of All-Russian and International vocal competitions. Thematic programs are designed for a wide range of interests of vacationers: acquaintance with the ethno-village of Vatnavolok, making national amulets from stone and fabric, Karelian wickets with the opportunity to taste them “in the heat of the heat.” In the process of learning to play the national instrument kantele, participants in the creative laboratory will be able to get acquainted with the pearl of literary heritage - the Karelian-Finnish epic "Kalevala".
