The hotel building was constructed in 1860 as a merchant's house. It was completely redesigned into the hotel at the beginning of the 21st century. The original historical look of the building was preserved, the forth attic floor was added, a lift was installed. The interior is decorated with marble, inlaid pictures, paintings.
The hotel offers accommodation in 21 rooms of the following categories: two-room Apartment including a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom; Standard Double and Twin rooms. Non-smoking rooms are available at a separate floor. All guest rooms are equipped according to the latest standards and feature electronic locks, individual safes, satellite television, individually controlled air conditioning systems, telephones with direct international connection, high-speed wireless Internet access, refrigerators and minibars. Bathrooms feature hair-dryers and necessary bath accessories.
The Medea Hotel also offers the following facilities: a restaurant, a lobby bar, a wellness centre, a luggage room, ticket booking, laundry and dry-cleaning services, car rent, taxi call, excursion service.
