The restaurant of the hotel was especially popular - even Alexander Dumas praised its cuisine in his memoirs. One of the wide-known Russian writers Leo Tolstoy visited the place.
The hotel worked till 1928, when it was destroyed by a fire. In 2008, almost a century later, the Samson Hotel was reconstituted on surviving drawings and plans.
The hotel offers accommodation in 59 rooms designed in European style. All rooms are most suitable for leisure guests: comfortable furniture, telephone, Internet access, air conditioning, individual safe, satellite TV, mini-fridge. Bathroom with bath cabin, hair dryer and toilet articles is in every room, bathtub and bathrobes in suites. The hotel rooms are represented the following categories: standard, superior standard, junior suite and suite.
The Samson restaurant for 90 guests and the banquet hall for 20 guests offers the authentic Russian and European cuisine. Buffet breakfast is already included in accommodation price for hotel guests. The restaurant also invites to try a business lunch or have a la carte dinner. In the summer time guests can enjoy coffee at the open-air cafe with a view of the Olgin lake- one of the most romantic places of Peterhof. Samson is an ideal venue for celebrations and meetings at the highest level.
For business guests the hotel offers meeting rooms with a capacity of 20 persons and 40 persons. Each room is equipped with flip charts, screens, multimedia projector, etc.
