During June 2013 exhibitions of the history, art and science will take place in the State Historical Museum in Moscow.

June 19 to September 16 - Show Russia and Netherlands. The interaction space. XVI - XIX Century will consider the history of relations between two countries: the diplomatic and commercial contacts, Arctic navigation in XVI-XVII centuries, the Dutch influence in culture and technology, Dutch experts and entrepreneurs in Russia. The project will involve museums, archives, libraries and private collectors of Russia and Netherlands.

May 22 to June 10 - Works of Italian artist Omar Galliani in Face and soul exhibition. A large-scale installation of 48 portraits and more than 1,000 photos of Russian women who participated in the project will be shown for the first time. Women's portraits and photographs of different years represent all Russian women face beauty and diversity of the characters and their fates.

June 1to June 30 - Exhibition The Romanovs is the result of joint work of the Historical Museum and foreign archives.

New exhibition The age of bronze and Kolih’s dolmens is to the 140th anniversary of the establishment of the Historical Museum. There are many archaeological finds of Borodino and Galich treasures, as well as a unique monument of culture dolmen, built around four thousand years ago.

The exhibition Masterpieces of Historical Gold Room presents a special rarities of Historical Museum like monuments of history and culture of the last two millennia, created from gold. The exhibition consists of three sections that introduce visitors of the museum a metal gods, metal of kings and symbols of power, and a section that tells about gold as a symbol of wealth and luxury.
