XVI International tourism fair «Otdykh/Leisure» which is organized by "Euroexpo" company within the limits of the Moscow Autumn Travel Industry Week – MATIW, has been highly appreciated by the World association of the exhibition industry (UFI) – the largest branch organization uniting the international and national associations of the exhibition industry and the largest world organizers of exhibitions – and has received the official status «UFI Approved Event» that is acknowledgement of qualitative level of carrying out of events and a recognition of its high status by the world community. In 2009, 1000 participants from 56 countries and regions of the world, have taken part in "Otdykh/Leisure" fair and 65.000 persons have visited the fair. The exposition total area has made 19.000 sq. metres. In 2010 the "Otdykh/Leisure" fair will be opened from the 21st till the 24th of September 2010 in the International exhibition centre «Crocus Expo» and it promises to be even more scale and interesting. According to the director of tourist department of LLC "Euroexpo", Violetta Tulich, the «Otdykh/Leisure» fair is already completed on 85 %. And getting this year the official status of «UFI Approved Event» is the conclusive proof of high level of organizing events and its importance for the world tourist industry.
