Central Museum of Tauris opened Treasures in Simferopol

In the Central Museum of Tauris in Simferopol for the last 20 years, a representative collection of archaeological items from precious metals: jewelry, clothing items, coins and religious objects II BC-XV century AD were gathered here. Portions of this collection were exhibited in Italy, France and Germany, where he enjoyed success with visitors. «Treasures» is conceived as a permanent exhibition hall. The first exhibition became the "Treasures of the Crimean Gothia." On display are archaeological materials obtained from excavation pozdneskifs and medieval monuments of the foothills and mountains of the Southwest and Central Crimea. In particular, it finds from the burial of Sarmatian-Alan Neyzats, harmony, hill forts and Eski-Kerman Mangup, near the village of Radiant: jewelry, brooches (waterproof zipper), the famous «orlinogolovye» buckles, belts and parts of horse reins. The project «Treasures» is being implemented as part of celebrations of the 90th anniversary of the Central Museum of Tauris.
