 The Head of Russian Ministry of Culture Vladimir Medinsky gave a briefing dedicated to the beginning of Russia and GB Bilateral Year. According to his words, this year will be marked with an unprecedented number of cultural projects over all the history of cooperation between our two countries. The opening ceremony will be held at the Winter Theater in Sochi, where soloists of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky theaters, as well as the British Royal Ballet and English National Ballet will present a gala concert. The informal opening of the Bilateral Year has already taken place. These days a big travel forum in London gathered representatives of travel agencies and regional departments of tourism and culture.
