 From May till December 2013 reconstruction of three floors of the hotel took place in the AZIMUT Hotel Voronezh and in January 2014 it introduced 125 renovated SMART-rooms. The concept takes its name from its ‘smart’ layout combining comfort, innovative features and a stylish understated design. On the first stage of the hotel renovation (on the 10th, 9th and 8th floors) new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems were installed along with fire prevention systems and energy-efficient windows; there are also new ceilings and partition walls, new flooring and doors, as well as a new hotel roof. The second stage of renovation included room improvement itself: the rooms are set up with areas for both relaxation and work. Each room has new furniture and plumbing fixtures in accordance with the SMART standard. In general the SMART concept is based on making hotel rooms maximally functional within a limited area. |
