Many characteristics, such as, for example, service level and ambience, were assessed. To enter the rating 72 points were required. Our hotel gained 83,6 points. The hotel has also been included into the list of “The 50 Best Hotels of the Northern Europe,” the press service of the Kempinski Hotel Moika 22 informed. None of the participants have scored the maximum – 100 points. The leader is IL Pelicano Hotel in Tuscany with 97 points. The hotel’s press service also emphasized that the Kempinski Hotel Moika 22 was also included into the Hot List Hotels 2006 of the Conde Nast Traveler magazine.

According to the press service of the Kempinski Hotel Moika 22, guests of the hotel were Vladimir Putin with his wife, Roman Abramovich, Pamela Anderson, Norman Foster, Boris Becker. “On average the hotel is occupied by 60-70% a year, 40% of the guests are Russians. Over the last years number of Russian guests has increased by 10%” the press service informed.

The Kempinski Hotel Moika 22 is housed in a mansion, designed by Basil von Witte in the middle of the 19th century. The hotel looks onto one of the city’s most famous sights – Palace Square and the State Hermitage Museum. The hotel rooms are decorated with antique items and designed according to the latest hotel fashion. The façade of the hotel has been meticulously restored by the Swiss company Kempinski Hotels CA, which owns one of the world’s most luxurious hotel network.
