This event is meant to attract the attention of government figures and the main players of the tourism market – tour operators and tour agents in the sphere of affordance tourism.

Although various Russian government organizations working with the problems of social adaption of invalids have brought up questions concerning affordable tourism before, a formal discussion of this particular topic will occur in Russia for the first time. Thanks to the initiative of organizers - Association of National Tourist Offices in Russia (ANTOR), the company Expotour and the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), and along with the support of the Rustourism and the Ministry of Health, the discussion of accessible tourism will occur on a higher level.

The International Conference on Accessible Tourism will occur within the frameworks of the tourism exhibition Intourmarket 2011, March 13th 2011, in the 2nd Pavilion of Crocus Expo, C Hall, and beginning at 10 a.m.

The participants of the International Conference on Accessible Tourism will not only share their experiences of interaction with travel agencies to work who work with people who have disabilities, but will also address the main problems in the formation of tourism products for this particular tourist category. Over 50 representatives of tourism companies from different regions of Russia have already confirmed their participation.
