The World Travel Awards-2008 (WTA-2008) ceremony has taken place in Poprad, Slovakia. The ceremony assembled representatives of the best travel operators from all over the world to congratulate winners in more than 150 nominations.

The WTA ceremony has taken place for the 15th time. This prize is a kind of Oscar in travel industry. It marks the best hotels, air companies, resorts, car rental companies, and other participants of the tourist market.

The winners are voted by about 160,000 travel agents in over 200 countries worldwide. The WTA is considered the highest achievement in travel industry.

Among the members of Best Eurasian Hotels the Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow was marked as the leading business and conference hotel, and the Swissotel Kranye Holmy Moscow was called Russia’s leading hotel.
