Marriott International is intending to double the room capacity in Europe from 40 to 80 thousand rooms by 2011. In Russia Courtyard Kazan was opened in February, the Courtyard Irkutsk Сity Сenter (for 208 rooms) starts to work in summer, the opening of Courtyard Paveletskaya in Moscow is arranged in the end of the year. In the furthest plans there are opening of Marriott hotels in Krasnodar, Ksnoyarsk and also in Rostov-on-Don, Nizhniy Novgorod and Omsk. The total quantity of hotels of Marriott of 18 brands is 3800.
