On 23 January 2014 AZIMUT Hotel Saint Petersburg officially invited residents of the city and hotel guests to the newly renovated SKY Bar. The windows of the bar on the 18th floor open a fascinating panoramic view of the historical city centre. Currently the SKY Bar can accommodate up to 100 persons. Guests may choose from a wide selection of dishes specially created by Harald Sjostrom, Corporate Brand Chef for AZIMUT Hotels. On weekends a DJ provides lounge style background music. In 2007 the legendary Sovetskaya Hotel came under the management of AZIMUT Hotels and was renamed AZIMUT Hotel Saint Petersburg. A major renovation of the Hotel with 1,037 rooms began in 2012. The innovative SMART concept, which combines comfort with utility, has been employed in remodelling 30% of the rooms and in 6 conference-rooms located on the 18th floor. The renovation of the public areas of the hotel is to be completed in May 2014 for the beginning of the tourist season. |
