August 5, 2015 the oceanography and sea biology centre Moskvarium was open in Moscow, on VDNH. Its total area, including pools area, is 53 000 sq.m. and accommodate 25 million liters of water. It is the only in the world year-round open oceanography centre, situated hundred kilometres away from the sea. 8000 species of fishes and different sea inhabitants all around the world lives in the aquarium.
